Crashing Waves - Handmade by Tonya Butcher
Crashing Waves was inspired by the beautiful and powerful sea. The sparkle that is found at the top of the wave as it crashes can be seen in this dazzling scarf pin.
This beautiful scarf pin was hand forged using 9 gauge aluminum wire. All edges have been sanded for both safety and so that it will not damage your shawl.
This lightweight piece can be worn on both knitted fabrics, ***silk or in your hair. This pin measures about 3" long including the stick. You can gently bend the outer edges of the main piece to create a looser or tighter fit with the pin.
Throughout my site you will find many beautiful Fashion Accessories and I wish you a wonderful online shopping experience. Please let me know if I can assist you in any way.
***Instructions of use: This scarf pin can be used on both knitted fabrics and silk or in your hair. When using this silk pin on knitted fabrics you can use the stick (if applicable) to pierce the fabric to hold in place. However, when using this scarf pin with silk, you must be very careful not to pierce the fabric as this will cause damage. The scarf pin and stick should only be worn to squeeze the silk or silk like fabric. When using it in your hair, you will place your hair in the style you wish the hair clip to hold your hair and slide the hair stick behind the hair and into the hair clip. Enjoy your pin.
The pin in the pictures is a representative pin and not the exact same one that you will receive. I hand make each pin to order and try hard to make them look the same. There may be some minor differences but the one you will receive will look very similar to the one you see in the pictures.
Aluminum does not tarnish like silver does. It may become a little duller over time. It can be washed in soapy water and shined up with a polishing cloth.
